  • PART 1:  From Pennsylvania to Jasper National Park, Alberta, then via the Cassiar highway through western British Columbia to the Yukon.  (

  • PART 2:  Into Alaska, to Fairbanks and up the Dalton highway (the "Ice Road") to the Arctic Circle and beyond, driving over the Brooks Range to the tundra, camping in the Arctic, returning to Fairbanks

  • PART 3:  Visiting Denali National Park, Wasilla, and Seward, traveling down the Alaska Highway through forest fire smoke all the way through Montana and Idaho to Bryce Canyon National Park (Utah), then home.
